My watches are for fun and generally I hate structure and rules
A few observations: While working from home, I find I switch my watches two or three times a day, and I do the same on the weekend. Dog walking, working at the desk, date time with my wife all suggest different kinds of watches. If I were to ever feel I got the watch choice “wrong“ I don’t worry, because I know I have many days ahead to get it “right“. Finally, it depends on the colors of the Hawaiian shirt I’m wearing that day as to what color gold and strap and make of watch I choose to go with it!

shoot sometimes I would even switch watches when I came home from work..lol.. but i think my other watches are jealous right now of the Snowflake and subconsciously I am trying to figure out how to please each one!! Thankfully I only have one girlfriend.....
+1 I tend to wear whatever I feel like at the time, though I tend to switch things up a lot and wear a different watch every day,
depending upon my mood and wardrobe. Then again, I don't have a particularly large watch wardrobe, and I wear everything that I have often enough that I don't keep anything off-site in a safe. (Or in the on-site safe, for that matter.)

i ensure i don't keep any safe queen...i wear them all but don't follow any rules of rotation. i pick what ever i feel each day & go - some times i wear the same for a week but i don't remember it carried over the weekend. Best, mahesh.,
