Exactly what I thought too

Only the indicating rings (and seconds disk) move? If so, I wonder how they chose the 3 indication points which are slightly offset from one another as opposed to a single point from which all components of the current time are read. Does the 'jitter' in ...

Interesting concept but IMHO the design detail and finishing seems raw.
