Some of the coolest watches to have ever been made were watches commissioned by governments for military purposes. If I am correct, below is one of the last “mechanical” timepieces to be issued to a military before quartz watches unfortanately started to become commonplace. This Tutima was issued to the West German Bundeswehr in the 1980’s before the wall came down. If you would, please share your Issued timepieces here.

Somehow I always forget that Jaeger is among the brands who supplied watches to the military. For whom were they for?
