Mathey Tissot Type xx
It is with great joy that I announce the addition of this Type XX to my collection. After some hesitation, notably with a Tudor Monte Carlo or a Speedmaster, it was finally this Mathey Tissot that was chosen.
This Type XX is an old love. On a few occasions, I almost succumbed to a Bréguet 3800, but it is this older model that has long attracted me.
I won't go over the history of the Type XX; others have studied it elsewhere, and much better than I could.
The dimensions, the big eye, the thin graduated bezel, the lugs, the crown, the patina... so many elements that, as far as I'm concerned, compose and contribute to an irresistible charm.

So, this pretty Mathey Tissot joins the only other chronograph in my small collection.
