the classic silver is probably the best choice.

I've worn it countless times wearing a suit during formal meetings, a lot more original than a submariner but that's just a personal taste.

Where'd you get the mesh bracelet on that watch? I love it!

Check polished shark mesh. Has to be sized to your wrist which can be hit and miss and some loops may need a bit of adjustment but honestly unbeatable value for money.

The 50th anniv has a lovely vintage-color lume but performance is very underwhelming, had it all redone in BWG9 which is whiter in broad daylight and gives a unique look against the silver dial.

Actually been thinking of putting it back on the beads of rice, but it looks awfully good on various fabric straps.

At first I thought the BoR was great but it was quite hot in summer and on the non T sub the stamped clasp is lighter than the bracelet. I much prefer the weight balance with the shark mesh, the milled clasp offsets the watch head much better and it makes... 

I recently pick up a Sub 300 and now understand the appeal--both the design and the fit. And thanks for sharing where you got the shark mesh bracelet (in the post above). I had been meaning to ask you for a while.
