Longines Weems 47,5mms Gassan Edition No.1 / 30
Dear All,
today I want to show you my latest watch. As I really love the big 47,5mms Longines, especially the Lindbergh and the Weems, I couldn’t withstand this one.
It is a very limited edition of only 30 pieces. It was launched by Longines and Gassan Diamonds Amsterdam to celebrate their 30th Anniversary Partnership.
At first sight the watch is a very basic Weems but at second sight you see many differences:
-A blue inner dial with a small Gassan diamond set at 6 position
-white dial with blue Roman numerals
-gold hands
-a blue croc strap
-inside of back case with special engraving
-inside of wooden case with special printing
The watch is really gorgeous, of course a bit on the heavy side, but as this is No 1 of only 30 pieces I couldn’t resist.
Many greetings
Oliver

Investigate claims of design 'inspiration' in Longines' current watch portfolio, comparing models to Patek Philippe, JLC, and Cartier. Is it homage or copying?
