Invitation to Purists: Breguet Exhibit and Dinner on Oct 1 San Francisco
Last week Breguet opened a special exhibit and the SF Museum of the Palace of the Legion of Honor. The exhibit is stunning, breathtaking in fact. 70+ historical pieces from Abraham-Louis Breguet including such gems at Napoleon's Travel Clock, the Marie-Antoinette watch, and much much more. The exhibit pieces have been the subject of similar special exhibits at the Louvre, Hermitage and Swiss National Museum. I could spend a hour gazing at the Marie-Antoinette alone!
Breguet has invited a small group of Purists to visit the exhibit and therefollowing head to fabulous dinner in SF. The event starts at 3 pm at the museum. Now the bad news. We have but a handful of invitations. So it will be first come first served. Please PM me if you want to come, but I urge you to jump on this as the slots are sure to go quickly. Exhibit in Europe
Hi Magnus. Indeed this has been in Europe....a lot. It has been at the Hermitage, the Louvre and both Swiss National Museums (Prangins and Zurich). San Francisco is the first time outside of Europe.

Thank you to Breguet and the Legion of Honor for this great event! It is a must-see and truly special event. So many grails in one place! I thought I would spend an hour or so and it became many many hours.
