To avoid repetition, I am omitting the Perpetual Calendar Chronographs that I have already posted in another thread. Still, I found this to be the largest contingent in my portfolio FPJ Octa Chrono Audemars Piguet Offshore Queens Road Patek 5170G Vacheron...  

The VC CdV is a beauty. The VC Harmony is just very special. We don’t see them enough. I own the calendar version which isn’t near yours The VC Overseas is a very versatile everyday watch. I noticed you’ve got the previous model. I’ve got the latest model...

I am a huge fan of chronographs and your collection is the best that I have ever seen!!!

Although in practice, we rarely use the function, let alone the split seconds...

If you fancy the 5960, now is the time to pull the trigger as the price has come down by 40% from the peak. The Octa chrono, on the other hand, was recently auctioned at an incredibly high hammer price...though certainly not bad news to me

I would pick in no order The FPJ Octa FPJ Centigraphe The PP 5370 and 5905 And the Lang and hayne monopusher The datograph Dream collection my friend

Though you probably know that the 5370P is 3/4 times as expensive as the FPJ, and the Dato Lumen is almost double the price of the Centigraphe... Still, you must have picked the order for good reasons

Okay, here's one: the first one, the Octa Chronograph. Am I right that it's 40mm? I usually see them at 38mm (which is not to say I see them often!).

I hurt my ear while diving so I don't have any minute repeater wrist watches, though my next target might be a 5178R... Interesting that you also picked the Lang & Heyne. It is also one of my favourites - PT case, enamel dial, Roman numerals, heavy weight... 

I am partial to anything Journe.

Last month in Geneva but unfortunately had to cancel due to the pandemic. I am eager to find out what the new Resonance will look like...

I am also anxious to see the new Resonance. I was looking forward to touring the FPJ workshop as well.

Bravo again. What’s your routine? One watch per day? Or for a longer period? How did you get into watches? It’s alway interested to have a vision of a big collector for me.

I have around 100 watches so once every three months or so I started with vintage watches about 25 years ago and....needless to say, this hobby becomes very addictive....there is always a next target...

...and there's no "weakling" among your chronographs, I'm surprised no one singled out 5070P as a favorite one. My knees weaken when I see one.. Congrats, Sam, on a phenomenal collection and thanks for reminding us there's nothing wrong with one going aft... 

Yes, the 5070P has a special space in my heart. It turned out to be a terrific investment too

P.S: there’s not enough days in the year for you to rotate all your watches. Feel free to throw a couple my way 😉

A couple of my friends queried why I buy the 5905 in addition to the 5960. I recently applied a beige strap to the 5905 and it makes a huge difference...

But you know that. It’s the best collection of chronographs I’ve ever seen. Of them all the LE Centigraphe is the one I’d probably wear the most.

I must admit that I have only worn the Centigraphe only once since the acquisition :P

I am drawn to both VC... any shot of the harmony movement (is this launch edition with engraved balance cock)? Also any comparison between the cdv and harmony for movement (I had read people don't like the harmony mono pusher feel), and which you prefer? ... 

I must confess that I wear the cdv slightly more often than the Harmony, simply because the latter is a bit 'loud' - like a chunk of gold sitting on the wrist. Yes, it was the limited edition initially launched.
