Thanks Ken! Yes, I also prefer no-date, or at least for the black one, a black date window. And you are right, the thin bezel actually make it look bigger. I'm also eager to see how the Miyota performs over time and will let you know!

I actually got this watch for a special "family watch" project, in which on top of the existing watch that I will get, I'm planning to customise a dial for each family member. I think the classic design and a trustworthy Miyota movement fits the purpose n... 

I wouldn't have think about Kickstarter in watchmaking but it is a very clever way to begin with a first watch. It looks elegant and nice. Congratz to you and thanks for sharing the unusual experience. Cheers, Mark

Thanks Mark for the kind comments! I agree it's an unusual experience to buy a Kickstarter watch project. It's an interesting platform and for micro brands, it's the perfect place to pitch their idea to potential customers. I've seen a few interesting wat...

Thanks Steve! I agree because of the positioning of the date window, it might look better without date. I'll see how big it looks on my wrist. Strangely, I'm slowly getting used to bigger and bigger watches :D
