I recently picked up this Longines.
It dates to about 1935 according to the serial number on the case and movement. It appears to be a civilian version with no engraving on the back, and no "anti-magnetic" on the dial. The dial is porcelain. I have no idea if it is correct or not. It is with my watchmaker and I'm waiting to hear back from him. I'm having the movement cleaned and serviced.

Will let you know what I find out. My guess is around 1938, but that's only a non educated guess from information I've read ion the internet. Bet? I never bet unless I'm 110% sure . Thank you again for the suggestion to contact them.

but only of their chronos. Mind you the Longines chronos aren't shabby either. ) Which one would you then go for then Nico. For me as said the Longines is finer in all the departments. It was also the first of those three. It also has a really lovely turn...
