Horological Meandering

First of all, I wish all members of PuristSPro a very good new year. I spend together with my family Christmas and New Year in Lapland, some 250 km north of the Polar Circle. I also had an idea... I took several watches with me and bought the new Leica D-...  

It is quite sophisticated and keep in mind that the photos are taken in darkness. I still need to read the instructions but it looks like the camera has developed since my D-Lux 6 and naturally, the new lens is wonderful. Best, Kari

Being a Swede, you are surely familiar with AuroraBorealis. Occasionally those can be seen also in Stockholm and I just heard that a couple of days ago those were visible in Tallinn. However, Arctic is the best place to see these fireworks. Mvh, Kari

As far south as Tallinn?! Didn't know that! The safest place to see this phenomena is up in the North part of Sweden of course... Best Blomman

Our Lapland goes further north than yours but Norwegians beat us both. Luckily their north most part is called Finnmark. Best, Kari

The other "cabin" is the storage for firewood and the other is a miniature playing house for small kids. My log cabin is not pictured but it's not really "miniature" with 8 bedrooms, 2 saunas, 2 living rooms, etc. Anyhow, enough for comfortable life even ...
