Horological Meandering

For me it would be the PP 5370. Can't beat that deep black enamel dial.

I like the 5370, but 5970 would be the one for me, rattrapante or not.

5959P. The fact that such an intricate movement could be made in such an incredibly tiny diameter (in relative terms), and yet still finished to practically highest standards is the ultimate grail to me. The only drawback being that it lacks the isolateur...

The Double Split is technically superior to anything Patek has achieved, the Triple Split frankly destroys the competition. Yet the 5370P remains my favourite all round Rattrapante with the 1815 Rattrapante PC or Patek 5372 coming a close second.

33.2mm in an attractive officer's case with an ultra thin movement that actually costs more than many Patek minute repeaters due to the work gone into making this complex movement as thin as possible. The perfect watch! ...  

Perfect size, dial and those numerals...

some may moan about the size but this watch is the epitome of discreet elegance. The best of the best (in my opinion )

If I was to own this, I would be more than happy for it to be my only watch. This is pure Patek, it makes me think of what Patek used to be like, say 100 years ago. It will be on my wish list for when I win the lottery.

The limited edition lithograph of this movement has been hanging on the wall of my lounge for the past 15 years and every time I stare at it, I see something new in the movement. Unfortunately, even a lottery win may not be enough to buy this watch new as...

It may have been trumped by the Triple Split, but the platinum and black combo is stunning and it is still leap years ahead of the competition!
