I also have this version without date.
Its a great reissue from Longines and Im happy that I get the version without date.
Some like the date ofcourse but I think sometimes it destroys the design on the dial.

I know you have the original (tropical dial if I remember correctly). But yeah they hit this one out of the ballpark.
