Seriously, for me, I may still leave it to a relative with whom I was the closest or had the most fun with or grew up with... or even to the one with whom I had a tough relationship with. Funny things happen after a person passes... you tend to miss them. Perhaps a timepiece that a relative receives will become sentimental to them.
Or, you could entrust the pieces to one of the Moderators here with instructions. Sorry to all the Mods for "volunteering" you.
Fortunately for me, I have three sons. I have already passed down to them a watch or two so that I can "watch" them enjoy it while I'm still here.
