i'm not concerned about resale and certainly not concerned about the Miyota movement, bearing in mind that they are a susiduary of Citizen who make excellent movements and have dont for many many years.
its about the look, the feel, how you feel and many other things.
i've had several unusual pieces over the years starting with the freak then an NHC Ottica, a couple of Maurice Lacroixs, Jour et Nuit and 24hr Regulateur amd of course the Seiko Discus. they have all gone in a fit of vintage collecting. i still have my Carlo Ferrara Regulateur which is pretty funky with its python strap.
i'm also a fan of the underdog. i have 2 Airnautics and an Ocean 7 Ceramic. that also gives superb bang for buck just like this Seven Friday.
some of the big brands could learn a huge amount from these smaller brands.

Yes, it wears smaller...
It doesn't have "lugs" so the feeling of size is reduced. Huge congrats Graham, nice catch especially with this version! Fx
