Glad to know another Indonesian in this forum. I think your story is quite sad. I have never sell any of my watch before. Well, come to think of it I never sell anything that I ever owned except my old cars. I love watches and i think if I ever in your kind of financial situation, I would probably sell my dog or rob a bank before even considering selling my collection..
Just my personal view, many Indonesian do not value their watches for the artisitic or horological value but rather value them on how much gold and diamond the watch. Many brands posted on this forum is not even familiar to many Indonesian. We dont have watch magazines and other watch educating material. Many just want Rolex, Bulgari or Chopard (not the LUC) which has lots of diamond or gold on it.
