Indie watch boutiques

1. William and Son 34-36 Bruton Street just off New Bond Street. You can find FP Journe, Ferdinand Berthoud, Romain Gauthier, Moritz Grossmann, Laurent Ferrier, H Moser and a few others there.
2. Harrods - not sure which independents they now stock. They used to have Speake Marin and H Moser.
3. Burlington Arcade - parallel to Old Bond Street and just off Piccadilly. Best arcade to walk through with its absolutely lovely small shops.

Restaurants
1. Steak - Goodman, Dinner (that's the name of the restaurant!) at the Mandarin Oriental
2. Malaysian - Tuk Din and Satay House in Paddington

Places to visit
1. Leeds Castle or Windsor Castle - both outside London but very accessible by train. Leeds Castle is in Kent (not Leeds!! smile) and is set on a lake. One of the most beautiful castles and grounds in the world. Windsor Castle needs no introduction. The oldest castle still habitable.

2. British Museum - visit the Egyptian mummies and the watches!!

3. Covent Garden - bustling and the open air market is worth a visit.

Have fun!!

Dear friends, I shall be in London this January to for approximately a week. Any recommendations for indie Watch boutiques, exhibitions & dining while I’m there? Will be travelling solo. Greenwich is already on the list (of course) Cheers

Hi While I can't add to the already great suggestions of where to go for watches etc. When you go to Greenwich go back to central London by one of the Thames ferries - great way to travel & see London from a different viewpoint. Cheers JML Ps for tea & ra...

Thanks, jml!
