Morning All A quick hello from Mickey - one of the Damian Hurst special edition Swatches from a few years past.



There was a similar response to these ( though at a much lower level) as there has been to the MoonSwatch & the Swatch Scuba. I can remember being told at the Swatch store - we don't have any in at the moment, but we can keep one for you if you want one. Later the same week got a text saying they've arrived & if you want it you need to collect it today. Feels very similar to where we've been with the last two big releases from Swatch - encourages you to make a faster decision ( something I'll admit I'm generally not very good at - like to think about my options). And yes I know they're not expensive. What's really interesting to me, though, is that while I was pleased to get it - I've barely worn it in the 4ish years I've had it. It is still in pretty much unworn condition (& for clarity no it's not going anywhere). But irrespective of their merits I wonder if the purchase of a Scuba or MoonSwatch will end up in the same place. A bit of further context - I bought my Memomatic almost instantly (which for me is atypical) when I saw it & have worn it extensively. Cheers JML

I bought one for my wife and she keeps it in its box at the side of laptop, in her office, and uses it as a desk clock. All the best, Jon

And about 6months later, while at Shanghai airport, I found 10 at the duty free Swatch store and bought all. Great gifts to friends and I love this watch. Nicely designed.

I also have one. And I actually haven’t worn it much either.

I should wear it more, I do think it’s a pretty cool edition. I also purchased a MoonSwatch, when the right one was available so not rushed as unlike the Mickey they are not limited. I do wear that more, but it’s a more easily worn every day watch than th...

As you can only get them from a Swatch store - need to feel like I want to visit where they have one. In terms of my Swatches probably wear these two the most The yellow jelly is now 20 odd years old. Cheers JML ...
