Great buy Nilo!
I don’t own the watch,
but I appreciate its “purity” in being a “tool” watch and have reserved a spot for it in my target watch collection.
Also, the current emergency is something like 63mm...
It seems to have great history about people actually being rescued with it, once you use the antenna you need to replace a lot of the watch, but B. will (at least used to...) replace it if it was used for a real emergency.
To complete the 80ies aviator look I reccomand to try finding the small second watch (“co-pilot I believe it was called) to use with the strap/bracelet.
Also the bracelets for this model are quite nice...

Great addition, Nilo! Definitely a fit for purpose piece and I hope Breitling returns to this spirit of innovation. Maybe with the odd model under 42mm as well

They are very much like the Aerospace model but with the interesting complication of the emergency signal. Be careful not to fiddle about with the antenna bit when you’ve had a few drinks on New Years’ Eve. Regards Kev.

When I was a teenager, this Breitling was the top of the awesomeness for me. The possibility to be saved by your watch was something almost unreal
To be honest with you, I won’t go for it today (my tastes have slightly evolved I think) but I’ll put it on my wrist with a true great pleasure during a walk in the mountains for instance. Best wishes Alkiro

I tried the latest emergency on few months ago..
very comfortable on the wrist. Looks great too! However, the boutique do not allow me to buy the watch! They insisted I must show them a local ID since this watch in some countries are not legal. Cheers. James
