Going through some of my old watch pictures and came across this. Was one of my first mechanicals after a number of years of quartz Seiko and a few others.
The name is Le Guet which apparently means "the watch". Which is I guess, a great name for a watch.
Reminds me of when Volkswagen came out with "The Thing" which I'm thinking was a response to people saying,,,what the hell is that thing???

I still remember getting my first mechanical after the quartz era and it felt so special. The Thing had such a cool vibe, it'd be fun/funny if they brought it back in updated form.
