Thanks again, always interested to see how things went. Interestingly, looking at the Phillips results my initial thoughts were “looked weak”.
Perhaps better qualified with “looked weak for the modern stuff”. I think these numbers include buyers premium but I am not certain; some results don’t appear quite so good if this doesn’t include the premium.
One could have picked up some really great watches, or built an entire Patek collection 5170, 5960 and 5270 for CHF152k (if you just happened to have that money burning a hole in your pocket!).

There’s nothing like it; I find the case very appealing to the eye.
And the price, I’m pretty sure this is a fraction of what these haste sold for in the past, There seems from this auction, and some others recently, to be an increasing bifurcation between the “hot” Nautilus, Rolex steel sportswatch and the auction kings ...
