Friendship and Concern...
is the reason he wrote it and the "War"...well competition, strengthening of the Swiss Franc, Outrageous Price Increases over the last 10 years, taking over real estate on the most expensive streets all over the world, and excessive production with fewer and fewer buyers at Full Blown Retail or at marginal discounts makes it a War Like Situation where the Strong will survive. I just hope my beloved Independent Watch Makers can survive it somehow.

This is near to be what can be called "friendship" behavior and truth. I guess we are many here to love watchmaking for the art and engineering skills that it is. But it is also about the peolpe and passion. Thanks for the enlighting love letter Thomas :)...
