I even believe I can recall one model made as “white label” for members of the Norwegian watchmakers association. (Yes, we broke away and started Professional watchmakers Norway when membership shifted from individual watchmakers to the dealers and everyone could become a member as long as they sold watches and paid the fee)
Enough about grumpy old farts - we used to call Favre Leuba “Fagre Laura” - it sounds almost the same but means “Beautiful Laura” in Norwegian.
I remember it as a sturdy good watch with several technical innovations, double barrel and of course the many Chronographs with Landeron and (not so often) Valjoux movements.
Also remember that FL is one of the oldest watchmaking facilities in CH.
