Horological Meandering

it's going to be a slow macro Monday. Who dares follow after such a magnificient display? :) An engineering marvel with incredible finishing: the (mighty) DS. Photographer extraordinaire with superb close-ups: the ( incomparable) GG. Who's next? :) fernan... 

In any case, my intent is to promote participation, not stifle it! I did get lucky with this series of shots, I think -- great subject matter and I just happened to select some friendly angles that led to 3-D views... Best, Gary

Hi Gary, These macros make me speechless. The DS is for me the ultimate chrono, I would put it on a shelf to admire it every day. Thanks also for the subtitles as we often watch them without completly knowing what is this or that part made for. Cheers, Ma...

Especially love that ultra-low angle on the first shot. I'm spending so much time these days working on technique that I feel I'm paying less attention to finding interesting angles and crops -- you have certainly done well with these shots! Best, Gary G

Incredible movement design. I find the vertical nature of the movement easier to appreciate than the more horizontal, which might be deemed subtlety more sophisticated? I don't know... I might be out of my depth here, and also in those 'deep' photos too! ...
