DOXA SUB 200. One of the novelties I missed, this year.

Incredible. I still wonder how I missed the Doxa SUB 200 among the novelties of this year.

Less funky than the SUB 300, the SUB 200 is more classic, with its more conventional case, with its generous diameter of 42 mm, which is water resistant to 200 meters, with its screw-in case back.

The only thing I am not crazy about is this bracelet " beads of rice ", but the rest is very much my taste. The contrast between the black velvet dial and the warm indices is superb. The sapphire glass is domed. I love the " macho hands ", too, which make me think of some vintage Blancpain Fifty Fathoms.

The bezel is unidirectional, and made of sapphire, as well

As for the movement, it is the ETA 2824-2, which is well known. A good alternative for those of us who are looking after a nice looking diving watch, but off the beaten paths...

What do you think?

Best,

Nicolas

It’s listed on their website at $990 USD 😱 Amazing proposition from Doxa! Thank you for sharing with us, Alex

And the webshop seems to be a no-brainer
