The AD I am getting SS from says - no inquiry about YG or PT version at all as of yet. So, if anyone is really attracted to PT version, you may still have plenty of chance - call the Grand Seiko retailer in your country.
According to SEIKO, GS is designed to be the ultimate "practical wrist watch". It doesn't mean that they don't want to sell YG/PT versions, but to me, SS case is good enough

I hate to break a bad news to you...
..but apparently the 1300 SS version have all been spoken for - at least 1000 allocated for Japan. I don't know about 300 for non-Japan allocation, though. You two could have asked me.... I have ordered mine and my AD has reached its allocation while ago....
