Deteriorating eyesight ?

I thing not!

Mostly, it's the effect of less and less legible dials. With some watches (not even complicated ones) it is hard to tell the time at first glance. Or should I mention the futility of some chronographs (think recent Zeniths) housing the excellent El Primero movement with no way to have a decent chrono reading ?

OTOH, I can still read the time on a 37mm Sinn from ~6ft and my eyesight is far from perfect (and isn't getting any better, either).

Lucky I still carry my mobile phone - at least I know the time smile

An interesting subject, one often raised by fellow enthusiasts. We're a size-addled society anyway, we Americans, whether it be cars, sports, or even food. Your premise, Gaz, that we'll see a trend towards smaller cases presupposes that larger cases now p...
