Decadence ...
... Maybe decadence is a rather strong word, but I see a development in industrial design, that goes into the wrong direction: chrongoraphs that cannot be used to measure time intervals, watches even that cannot be used to read the time ... what's next? offroad cars that cannot leave the tarmac? .... upps ....
the final decision is in the hand of the cutomer, though. If he decides not to spend his money on this, then the companies wouldn't produce it.
