Thanks for recounting the story, Nicolas. It is often these first contacts with companies via websites that make a deep impression. I recently had reason to contact Breguet and Bremont via their on-line sites and in both cases received prompt and helpful replies. This certainly leaves a positive impression. The companies can do well to pay attention to this sort of basic customer service.

Vintage Longines, for sure! You're perfectly right, Ling, there are a lot of very tempting Vintage Longines. If you only take in consideration the 30 CH or the 13 ZN Chronos, the number of very appealing pieces is far from being limited. Best, Nicolas

The movement number, apparently, relates to a Manufacturing date.

Makes me love Longines more. I wish the new chrono was a manual wind, although I may still consider it after taking a look in the metal. I wish everyone, including Longines, would quit with adding date windows to re-editions though. Cheers, Daos
