CP-2 for CP-2-does it make sense?

Jun 30, 2020,06:04 AM

Hi, I parted with my Purist CP 2 against another watch.
Here she is-just arrived and in complete original conditions. These CP-2 for Cairelli are fantastic and I am very lucky to add this particular one to the collection.

You should have kept the modern, too!

THAT is a great military Chrono! Bravo. I only have the one on the left... Alas. Best, Nicolas ...

Do you mean the Purist Pro CP-2 aperna? [nt]

Yes, maybe you’re right Nico.

I just like to cut a few edges here and there to ease the cargo. For example if Simon says: You can have any but only 1 CP-2 which one would you take?

No offense intended, I would never trade my modern CP2 for that watch.

For the original Zenith, yes, depending on how much $ is required. Very pleased for you though!

Thanks Michael.

And I really enjoyed my years with our anniversary CP-2. It actually led me to appreciate this rare bird in the end so it’s all good.

It is difficult to find a good vintage. You definitely have done that.

Glad the CP2 was a good springboard to get you there!

Having no emotional attachment to the modern CP-2...

I think you made a nice decision. Enjoy it!

Yes and nice UG movement as well ( UG 285P)

I think Zenith took over that movement when they started their CP-2 deliveries, but I am not 100% sure. ...

I could never have nailed that one without the help and inspiration of this great forum.
