The dam holds as long as the watch remains off-limits. Like the steel Lange 1815 "service loaners," all the power comes from the perceived exclusivity rather than huge inherent value. Making more of them would spoil the fun.

I could see a place for a Kurono-like product in Max's portfolio, but it couldn't be an MB&F-branded watch. MB&F-adjacent or MAD-branded works.
