Me again, bringing chrono threads back from the dead lately. 
I have noticed that both the Japanese and Swedish army EPs have the same cases, particularly noteworthy is the triangle faceted lugs.
The Zenith with 143-6 (EP4) for the Yugoslav army has the same case as well (see first pic of mine). We know it was manufactured by EP for Zenith in 1954.
There are other EP based chronographs done for other brands like Girard Perregaux, from the same era, that feature the exact same case and lugs too (see second pic, watch not mine).
What I am wondering is whether in all these watches Excelsior Park provided not just the movement but the case as well? And who manufactured these cases? I could not find a hallmark on the inside caseback of the Zenith. Would love to know.
Any hints as to the case maker on these would be much appreciated, or any other manufacturing details for that matter.
