Neither of the two. The Vacheron dial is just awkward, the Patek let’s me completely cold

I feel the same way concerning the Patek and concerning the mandatory perfection at such a price range.

I'd have to hear them in person, but I suspect the PP feels better on the wrist and sounds better. Like the look of the VC, but I suspect it'd be the PP. Dreamy repeaters...
I like the size of the PP better,
as well as the back tourbillon. It also probably sounds better. But the look is absolutely not for me. Even with its drawbacks the VC speaks to me more… 🤷🏽♂️ Best, Emmanuel

If I had the money, I'd perhaps hunt a vintage repeater. Clean, time only. Maybe a VC with teardrop lugs?
In this price range I would opt for the

Being a Grande Double Sonnerie, the BP is clearly one step beyond.
So, it's definitely a very strong contender. But the openwork aesthetic isn't for me. I would still pick the VC, personally... Best, Emmanuel
