Lately I noticed that Baume et Mercier made waves by relaunching their famous line under the name of Baumatic...honestly it did ring bells but like the name I thought it’s something new and high end they have done . Yesterday when fiddling through my vault box i came across my baume which I inherited longtime ago with a black onyx dial and it does say baumatic on the dial....
Don’t know the value but as a kid I have preference to the moonwatch by movado over this. Not realising that this was 18k gold and stone dial and slender baumatic Movement ....how preferences changes with knowledge and age !
