So...as a point of watch history...the term "Compax" as used by Universal Geneve refers to the number of complications. Thus, the legendary "Tri-Compax" - which actually has 4 subdials - has three complications - chronograph, calendar (day-month-date), an...

To my knowledge, Universal never made a flyback in the "..compax" series of models, so we'll never know if they would have counted it as a separate complication. In any case, I'm happy to include an AL&S Datograph in any darned category it wants to be in!
