dont bother with generic JLC, complete waste of money. Went back to JLC for a replacement strap and buckle was extremely expensive but worth it. A premium watch commands premium accessories.
I agree stock JLC straps are questionable but they have a lot of options post purchase directly from them.

I paid fraction of that to replace my
master ultra thin deployant from the London boutique. Money well spent, especially knowing it came directly from the maison with my exact reference in mind.
I have had a good experience with RHD deployants
They’re better for thicker sportier watches but I suspect it might still be doable for your MC. The double fold with push buttons is the one I use. Hope this helps.
