Horological Meandering

Are you just dipping your toes into tourbillons?

I have a Sugess tourbillon (near clone of a Seagull 818.901), and I got a Seagull ST8004 (for ~3k) to replace it since the finishing quality on the Sugess left something to be desired (case, clasp, and dial are all a little rough). I will see if the genuine Seagull lives up to its much higher price when I get it. I figured 600 bucks for the Sugess was expendable for the purpose of seeing how much I would enjoy wearing a tourbillon watch with a rather busy dial (turns out, I like it quite a bit!).
IIRC based on Youtube reviews, the Aesops are noticeably worse than the Sugess (and other Seagull knockoffs), with a lot more dirt and flaws, and you're only saving like 200 bucks. I personally would go up to the 800-1k price point for Chinese watches to get slightly better quality stuff. There's no point buying jewelry that triggers my OCD, though I'm keeping my old cheap watches for sentimental reasons.
