that is exactly the problem!! There are a few quartz watches out there that solve this problem but they are rare and very far in between. Some take the quartz movement and beautify it, like the Girard Perregaux Equation, Fp Journe elegant or the Grand Seiko 9f while other add quartz tech to mechanical watches, like the Piaget Emperador Coussin XL 700P or any Grand Seiko spring drive movement! I really want the GP and Piaget, tbh cuz they are both beauty and brains :p

My God man.....Look at that coil thing. Will it zap my phone, or short out my pacemaker.

This is just so wrong. I know, I know, the green makes it look benign, but one day when you're not looking and BAM.

Clearly not for everyone :-) [nt]

from them in a long time. That needs to change.

That coil reminds me of the car alternator I had to help my father rebuild when I was a young boy.

I held the flashlight while he did the work. I learned many new words I was not allowed to repeat that evening.

Lol. Interesting experience [nt]

Its interesting. Sort of cool. Initially thought I might want one (this green one). I think I'm drawn to it for nostalgic reasons as I remember how ground breaking the Accutron was when

 By: InDebtButOnTime : November 8th, 2020-11:25
it came out. Same pull for the new Bulova Digital and the Hamilton PSR. I now have both of those but they were inexpensive where this isn't. I have two Perrelet Turbine watches and they are really fun conversation pieces... that plus the nostalgia was a d...

I have thought about getting it, on and off. Besides...

The size, weight and price tag, it has to be worn enough to keep it charged up.

My thoughts too

I like it but.....

I honestly do really like and I think it is a great gateway towards a problem that has always plagued quartz watches, beauty. With the amount of possibility for finishing here and to stylize it further, it will be intersting to see what they do in the fut...

Sharp and a truly honest comment

Read some about Bulova. Nice watch that accutron. Buying? No. Why? I do not want it, i have not much connection with Bulova. Frank Sinatra can not help either.

make sense!
