Any lefties out there?
Aug 13, 2014,05:39 AM
I am interested to know if
you wear your watches on the right (non-dominant) wrist or the left.
If the left, is it
convention, habit, comfort, winding while on the wrist (probably not a good
idea to put lateral force on the winding pinion), ease of strapping, deployant
comfort or appearance?
If the right, is it comfort,
exposure to damage? Something else?
And of course for the
righties out there, do you ever wear a watch on the left wrist? I do ...

A rightie with watch on left

I've tried in the past to wear my watch on the right wrist but ended up bumping them against just about every object I come into contact with so I don't anymore. Seems that my dominant arm is not a gentle one. Richard

If so, rejoice! it is a natural-born talent and not a genetic condition. In fact we are conditioned in so many ways throughout our early years to conform to a norm where dexterity stands for the "right" side of things. Still we can change it! One of the f...

Except if I would by some reason wear two watches (not often). But then I am always worried that I will hit the one on the right into something.... Best Blomman
I write with my left hand, play all sports right handed

and have always worn a watch on my left wrist. The two reasons I can give is that I have trouble operating the clasp with my left hand, so it feels clumsy trying to put the watch on my right wrist, and second is the watch just doesn't feel "right" on the ...
