I like a blue dial. It adds some (relatively conservative, depending on its vibrancy) colour to one’s collection.

For me, the pelagos and the CB are the two standout blues from that group. Good alternates for each other and with titanium and tantalum, respective, cases they add a little more variance to SS/precious metal collections. Not pushed about RO chronos, for me the dial always looks too contrived and crowded, much prefer the simple uncluttered tapisserie dial. I like the swatch, though the camouflage/military strap would prevent me from wearing it. The Seiko looks like some good (but large) fun, especially because of the ‘shroud’. As for the Nomos Weltzeit, for me, it stretches too far from their Bauhaus form follows function design code (very busy), but the blue dial is nice. Great mix of a collection (even if some have moved on).

Like Nico, I sometimes look back at old pictures too. Here’s a shot for several years ago, a hand full of blue. The AP, Nomos and Pelagos are long long gone. I still think that Pelagos is a cool piece, the blue and more so the Titanium case and bracelet. ...

When i decided to go for a SMP300, i consider the models. I could take with the rodium dial, blue dial, white, black etc. Why i took the rodium dial is, about timelessness. In mind the watch stay forever, and be my only diver. Sure, i keep the door open f...

Both the Tudor and the Nomos shown here were attractive watches on paper (and in the store). But neither really captured much wrist time.

They both fall into the category of watches one could see oneself buying again and having the same experience. If that makes any sense.

understand but the strange thing is I wear the Pelagos more than any other watch

and in the same category of the blue I can also add some nice pieces like a 5711a, also the Journe CS, 5070P ... and definitely the octo finissimo blue any day !

Simply; it wasn’t a Submariner.

I think that the best explanation I have. When given the choice I was continually choosing something else to wear. It is a little big, sits a little high, but the Ti made it comfortable on the wrist. I did love the blue dial, and the sharpe contrast with ...

Totally get it. I will have to get a sub at some point just so I could scratch that itch. I've gotten over the premium thing. Just trying to figure out what sub to get. Funny thing is..

I'm already thinking that whatever reference I get, I'm gonna get disappointed but that I'm gonna get one anyway. What they say about meeting your heroes

Good to have those blues!
