The UJ project always seemed to me one where KV was not being offered [material] ownership - he seemed like a gun for hire, paid handsomely no doubt but whose mind was always going to be more on doing piece uniques and other fantastical things under his own name. Fair and I would add that we may never hear all sides to this. Short of some kind of scandal I think we can all be sad and upset about his departure as an important part of the brand.
