Horological Meandering

I can only say that I'm pleasantly surprised by this fellow, it has all the ingredients I appreciate in a diver reissue! I will tell you more about this watch and its fate in a few days. ...  

Of some very early Doxa dive watch, one that came out before the SUB 300 you know very well!!! It is very similar to the Eberhard Scafograf 300 from the sixties but also reminds Omega Seamasters like the 165.024. Size is 42mm, but it wears like 40 or 41! ... 

I love this watch. It's 42mm, but wears smaller due to the curtailed lugs. I'm surprised more people haven't picked up on this watch yet.
