A small sub-part collection theme : vintage inspired chronographs.
Having a sweet spot for these many beautiful chronographs from the past but shying away from the difficulties of the vintage market, the next best thing is modern technology combined with the looks from the past.
Over the past years I have assembled a small selection of these vintage inspired chronographs that are a good reminiscence of the past.

I guess, the GO Sixties model line was one of the very first succesful adaptations of the vintage style into modern watch making ...and for me these are still part of the best.

A brand that has a lot of merits re-introducing beautiful watches from their glorious past is without a doubt Longines : the classic "Tuxedo" chronograph is a fine example of these efforts.

Over the past few years Breitling is much more active in reviving models from their past : the Top time Mustang from the Capsule edition is a really cool watch!

And also Omega is becoming more active in this segment as shown with the Chronoscope in bronze/gold.
Anyone else liking vintage re-designed chronographs?
Best,
Gerard
