I rmb someone

There was a time when Nautilus’s were less ubiquitous.
I once served one of the board members of Tata steel (the company that bought Jaguar and Land Rover). He was a quiet and tidy gentleman of little words, but I could tell he was a warm person. On his wrist, discreetly hidden under his crisp white shirt, was a nautilus with a white dial. The nautilus looked like it was on the correct wrist. That I could see was the piece that resonates with him.
Another time, I served a board member for a huge Japanese bank. I became close friends with him and his wife, they were like elderly mentors to me. On his wrist everyday, was a thin PP Golden Ellipse, on a mesh bracelet. It was always half-hidden. Beautiful moment to see these marvels.
Lastly, I served a managing director to a big cereal company. Italian as he is,he was impeccable with his dressing. He had a vast collection. But his go-to piece was always his Rolex Pepsi which he spoke so fondly of, and exclaimed it is the only piece that resonated with him.
I feel, there is one always one piece that will resonate with each collector, to induce him to wear it more often than others.
Well discussed there about the phases of this hobby. We start out broad, but over time, narrow down to what resonates.
