Same issue as well

Oct 02, 2014,01:10 AM

I have the same issue on my Mac, but only for brands A to O.

I understand running a site like this is expensive and someone needs to pay for it, so some form of advertising is necessary, but the Hublot ad is quite overbearing and has affected my enjoyment of using this site. I understand it is up to me whether I visit PuristS or not. I have really enjoyed visiting PuristSPro over the years and have learned a lot here, I therefore feel a certain degree of sadness that I started visiting the site less because of the ads. I have no doubt that those that give up their valuable time for free to run the site feel this has been a necessary change, I just think it is a real shame.

Hello. Try to use the forum, but can't use it because of the Hublot ad, can someone tell me how to get rid of that? Best Michel

How exactly does the Hublot ad interfere with using the forum?

and which system (computer, smartphone, tablet? OS? Browser?) are you using? Thanks, Magnus

On a PC, it seems

when you press one of the watch "brand" tabs, you become directed to the Hublot ad site. I figure it's just a glitch, but it's annoying when I want to receive my latest PuristS update on a non Hublot watch. Once on the Hublot site, you cannot get to the b...

Yes, I had the same thing...

every tab I pressed opened a new Hublot page. Easily resolved by closing down firefox and restarting... it then has worked fine. Not sure what the glitch was... Cheers Andrew

Had the same problem, now ok on Mac. [nt]

When you say tabs do you mean the open list i.e. all the forum manes are visible or the drop down menu i.e. BRAND FORUMS (A-M). Thanks

Hi Bill, still problems

drop downs work fine, just the top rows (under the blue band with drop downs) on the top are "overwritten" by the Hublot advertisment. Br, Dirk

Quick question

Sorry for the trouble. Can you please tell me which web browser you are using and if you are PC/Mac or other. Thanks Bill

Still problems when on Front page. once beyond

the front page, it seems to be ok. So having navigated to HoMe via drop down, the other tabs work.

I tried

to downlaod firefox but Apple give a message that the program is from an unknown developer. I guess they don't like firefox at apple. can you try safari for a quick test. Thanks

The work-around (on my computer) is to use the drop-down menus.

If I use one of the pre-selected tabs, I get Hublot. If I move my cursor over the "Brand Forums" drop-down menus, then drop down and click on the desired forum, I get the desired forum.

Same issue as well

but I'm sure our team will solve that What I realize is that it is impossible to use PPro with Firefox much better with Chrome or just using fall down menu instead of quick forum navigation via bars Sincerely Damjan

Back to normal now, I let you judge whether
