And the UN dials... Gosh, they are beautiful! A nice juxtaposition of complexity (from the UN) and simplicity (the Pam and the JLC Reverso)!

I know Gordon's unlimited passion for enamel dials, and was lucky to

Beingb able, thanks to him, to see these two watches in the flesh...Along with a third one I posted in the Patek forum. Very appropriate for Tea Time! That is what he had last Friday morning, by the way. ;) Gordon has a lot to share with us about his pass...

Fully agree Nico!

Agree Gordon is a truly connoisseur of enamel dials. I admire his passion and his attention to details on the dial work. Learnt alot from him each time we meet. What souvenir? Do you want something from Singapore? I can get for you and pass you in Paris m...

 By: GLau : June 29th, 2014-07:10
Robin's two new Jaegers are wonderful, especially the reverso !! Kong's Pan is very light and visible !! Glad you guys liked the Dragon and small dragon (Snake). Will Horse be joining its siblings soon ??? Cheers, Gordon

...a collection from Ulysse Nardin. Perhaps you need (or want) a Patek Philippe that has a Zodiac animal that will add to your collection of the animals of the Asian Zodiac. I'm still admiring your latest Patek Philippe, special Beijing Chien Men 23 Editi...

Hi Patrick, Glad that you like the 5153 Beijing edition !!

 By: GLau : June 30th, 2014-08:11
Patek has likely finished with the Zodiac collection as there is no news on a Horse dial (after the snake marquetry). I believe Patek started with the Horse zodiac twelve years ago before other brands, and now a full cycle has been completed. As reviewed ...

I'm not an expert about the Jaeger-LeCoultre line up...

At least when it comes to zodiac animals. I don't believe I mentioned specifically that there were JLC watches for the zodiac. But if you're looking for a horse, I know JLC has a lot of horse watches in their Reverso collection, since the Reverso was orig...

I am sure you will continue the collection with a Horse! :)

Nice to meet you again Gordon. I had a great time with you and Kong too - the discussions on enamel vs urushi (Chopard) were great learnings from me. Kong is the master of the Chopard LUC urushi watches indeed cheers robin

Just notice that

all 5 watches are on leather straps. Cheers Henry

Yep and in hot and humid Singapore!

That;s why we hid in aircon rooms when we wear our beloved watches with leather straps :) In outdoors for prolonged periods, rubber straps or bracelets are much more suitable for Singapore cheers robin

thanks Robin for sharing the pixs

The snake ...

... in particular looks amazing. I wonder if Gordon is following a particular theme or line of creatures, or is the beautiful enamel enough? A quick GTG over a small number of watches is truly a lot of fun. You can spend more time considering fewer pieces...

Glad you "joined" us Andrew

it's always a pleasure to share GTG pics of watches on PuristSPro and invite the rest to join us virtually. I believe Gordon must have a collection plan for these Chinese zodiac animals. Will be really cool if he collected all 12 of them! :) cheers robin

Hi Andrew - When I saw the Dragon, it took my breathe away...
