Looks great...

And you wear it well, lzhik! This is a great timepiece IMHO, and punches above its weight class, price v features. While yes, there are similarities to IWC, I think this stands alone. The Oris Caliber 111 taken from the ~2014 (ish) Artelier model (more dressy) and put in this sport model is a great move. I do agree that a canvas or sailcloth band would look great on this, and there's also an OEM stainless bracelet, but the leather looks nice too smile

I think also for a brand that usually uses ETA and Sellita to come up with a first in-house caliber of 10 days PR, it's simply nice... would you elaborate more from yours side, apart of the date😃....a general opinion on the model??..merci, y

d'accord, the similarity to the Big Pilot is surely there...

it's all fresh for me, photos taken 2hrs ago....will need to sleep on it, but I love good bargains...and 35% off for a daily piece with an in-house engine...hmmm...vediamo...thanks a lot again for your thoughts...

you don't like it Captain..??

The date, the bezel and the dial were mentioned, not a lot else to talk about ) Congratulations on reaching your first 1K posts.

To me the dial looks like an Union Glashütte

However, this Oris is quite an interesting proposition: 10 Days pr is something!

well, when it comes to such a discount and an in-house caliber...

with 10 days PR...you know, at the end of the day, pros and cons as usual have to be put on the balance...thanks a lot for your thoughts, y

It goes very well with the mosquito bite ! ☺️

I do not know where you located in CH, but if you approach the Emmental, be careful...flying monsters there....horrible mosquitos, you don't see them, you don't hear them...you just feel it....and thanks for the comments on the Oris....I love the 10d, a t...

Oris is just great value for money and they build honest watches. The Oris store in Zurich offers free espresso and i love to chat with the store manager from time to time, while having a great espresso. He loves watches, thats for sure

well, they offered me a coffee this evening in Bern as well...just had to refuse as I don't take coffee in the evening...😃

 By: Izhik : August 6th, 2019-13:43
and I fully agree with you about the value for money of Oris..so with such a nice discount for a brand new watch...tempting...

usually, I am a slow guy....

Oris are on the way up and that ten day power reserve is a cool feature. Give it some careful thought as the market is very competitive in this area.... Tudor ?

amazing Captain....you are in my thoughts....

 By: Izhik : August 6th, 2019-12:24
actually, before seeing today this Oris...during my stay at my friends house, I was really playing with the idea of a Tudor, but since I usually don't go with the mainstream, I thought over a model not seen here often, not a typical Tudor, but that's why ...

The North Flag ....

This a watch designed for performance. I like the fact that it’s a COSC-certified chronometer, the first for Tudor. It’s designed with a silicon balance spring, and a high beat rate of 28,800. The 70-hour power reserve is perfect for everyday. Personally,...

thanks again for your thoughts...

 By: Izhik : August 6th, 2019-13:07
sure, the BB58 is by far also more popular...a very typical Tudorish design also... what I like though with the NF is that it's probably the first ever and only watch from Rolex/Tudor to have an open back display to see the in-house movement...I simply li...

I would go for the North Flag ...

 By: Cpt Scarlet : August 6th, 2019-13:15
Because it’s the Explorer of the Tudor range.

My pleasure friend...

thanks Ron for the congrats and your take on the Oris....

 By: Izhik : August 6th, 2019-12:56
sure, I agree with you referring to the GO...a main issue here is of course also the price categories...simply both brands are somehow on different levels, however, I do like also the fact that Oris is still an independent brand...will take few days to sl...

that's it Ron...and the answer is, yes, I do like it...whether it's 'really realy'....can't say that yet...but perhaps...tomorrow

 By: Izhik : August 6th, 2019-13:38
I always buy a watch over a period of time...but the feedbacks here are quite useful..

thanks Tony, that's certainly an incon this Big Pilot...a 5004, I guess...

 By: Izhik : August 6th, 2019-13:47
first photo is superb....the Oris is another class...yes, I love the 10d PR feature....great price discount...tough, let's see...cheers, y

I've owned a 5002 and a 5004 ... loved 'em, but don't own them now (for whatever reason). I've always been attracted to some Oris watches and have owned a few. I would have definitely grabbed that watch for that attractive price.I like it!
