Left by a Mile

Left because:

1. Big date--great to have this combined on a calendar and in fact prefer this dial to even the lange perpetual calendar.
2. Zero Reset Function
3. Micro Rotor helps display the movement
4. Movement finished much better, including the unique engraving and bi-metal rotor
5. Moon phase is a piece of art
6. More legible
7. Beautiful case and case work
8. Beautiful dial with even better in WG with the blue hands that suit it just right.
9. Lange is just at a different level of watchmaking.
10. Not a perpetual calendar--but actually only a few less parts than the lange perpetual and I would venture to guess more parts than the JL. Has complications the JLC doesn't have so not really so fussed about the perpetual vs non-perpetual. Almost anyone that owns a watch like this will have to set it anyway at least once during the year.

Both are very nice but I would lean towards the annual Lange

Definitely right for me.

I would choose left just because I think it’s a more appeasing watch visually…

Even though the jlc is a perpetual calendar. So I’ll have to adjust it once on February, it’s not a deal breaker, I think it would look better on my wrist than the jlc. I can even visualize trying it with different colored straps, not with the jlc though,...

JLC

I like the dial layout better and of course, a perpetual.

Right, hands down!

Both amazing, but left for me!

Left no question

I happen to have both.

The Lange in white gold and the JLC also in white gold - boutique edition. If I could only have one it would be the Lange. It’s far more legible - although the grey dial JLC is probably the least legible of all the variations. The finishing on the Lange m...

more complex... or more finely finished?

I own neither watch, so curious on your thoughts - thx

Left. The Lange is just a much finer watch overall.

With the Lange, you do not have the complexity of a perpetual calendar but I will generally take a finer overall piece that's somewhat less complex than a lesser piece that is more complex.

Right my dear friend

I find one of the nicest in the Saxonia lineup!

I like left or rights
