Indeed...

Happened to me...I have a watch that I love with all my soul and suddenly I noticed that on certain lights one of the hands is kind of opaque. Noticing it destroyed the concept of perfection that object had for me and certainly every time I see the watch I try to find that specific light angle that makes the hand look akward (in my opinion). How it was not so obvious for me before? Anyway, showing others the issue makes them thinking that I am completely nuts...it makes me sad sometimes and sometimes I think I can live with it...anyway, that's the way WIS are...

I can easily imagine the wrong light too... black complicated dials... glad you've kept it! Many years ago, I almost bought a Zenith perpetual... which seemed GIGANTIC at 44mm... ah the sweet innocence of youth... but I thought at the time it seemed a lit...

I think this is an aspect of 'collecting' not often discussed--'sudden death' syndrome... Well, back to collecting!
