I match watches to clothes but only one day ahead. I rarely wear the same watch two days in a row but a week in advance is too far for me to think ahead with any certainty.

Great line up BTW.

Ready for next work week…

 By: Clueless_Collector : August 1st, 2021-18:04
How many collector friends think about what to wear in the coming days/week? As I rotate most, if not all of the watches, I usually spend a weekend thinking the group for next week. Some newer ones will be rotated more frequently just to check for any iss...

Thanks my friend. By “packaging” them, it brings some “freshness” to the owning experience 😊👍🏻🙏🏻

I can have quite a few possibilities and probabilities.

What a nice way to approach a week my friend!

Clearly you will look forward to every single day of the week coming in order to rotate and where everyone of these wonderful five choices!

Perfect 5 watch collection!

RG Daytona, WG GMT, Blue Sub and Olive Day-Date, totally different league. www.watchprosite.com

A marvelous lineup, my friend, and you are certainly ready for the new week!

 By: Sfwatchlover : August 1st, 2021-20:13
I saw that all of the watches are set to the right time. Do you use winders for your watches? Have a nice Sunday afternoon and evening!

I don’t use any winders because I prefer winding them myself…

 By: Clueless_Collector : August 1st, 2021-20:47
As I bring them out, I set the time so they are ready to be worn. Once I read, putting on winder is like letting car running idle, may not be good, plus I don’t have any Perpetual calendars so probably no need for winder?

Make sense and thanks for replying!

 By: Sfwatchlover : August 1st, 2021-22:06
I totally understand and agree that it is fun and enjoyable to wind the watches by hands. I like power reserve indicators for this reason. Do you wear one watch per day, or wear different ones during the day? Cheers!

Very nice and you are enjoying the good life of a real connoisseur!

 By: Sfwatchlover : August 2nd, 2021-01:23
Start to prepare in the evening the watch to wear the next day is a great tip. The morning is usually quite hectic and there is no time to think carefully which watch to wear. It is great to get it ready the previous night 👍👍

I wear a watch in bed as well. Then the criteria is quality lumes and a comfortable bracelet or loose strap.

 By: Pun : August 2nd, 2021-03:23
I like to check time when i attend a call of nature during night. Just don't want to miss fun. BTW yours' is an exemplary collection. 🙌

That is interesting, to wear a watch during bed time…

 By: Clueless_Collector : August 2nd, 2021-04:38
I’m too afraid to knock or hit the night stand or my “boss”, lol… I have an alarm table clock close by for the purpose of reading time or morning alarm. Thanks for your nice comment.

I think I’m happy too. Thanks buddy

Of that calatrava especially. Next week is gonna be good!

Thanks kindly.

The 5196P is an instant classic, but I’m now wandering between this or the 5565A?

A matter of taste chiefly

 By: mhz vph : August 2nd, 2021-03:02
The 5196 is more attractive to me. Just something about that design, the lines of the case, the breguet numerals, it’s just so good. But the 5565 is also beautifully designed. I see nothing wrong with it. It’s just down to what your heart wants at the end...

You’re right…both 215PS.

 By: Clueless_Collector : August 2nd, 2021-04:40
One limited to 300pcs and in SS while the other is also rare in Pt, with a diamond and the Breguet numerals….if only the 5196P aren’t staying this long in the catalog. I think I’ll still stick to it.

Despite the differences in exclusivity

 By: mhz vph : August 2nd, 2021-05:12
You really can’t go wrong with either

I think so too, even though we don’t have the production numbers of the 5196P…

 By: Clueless_Collector : August 2nd, 2021-05:46
It is not a mass produced watch in this noble metal.

No need to think about rotation,

 By: wover : August 1st, 2021-21:28
I have a full rotation schedule, on paper, that I stick to. It means a different watch every day until I'm through the lot. Then start over - who says life is boring ?

I don’t have a fix schedule on paper…

 By: Clueless_Collector : August 1st, 2021-22:03
Just random feelings at the moment and see which one connects or sometimes it’s the date that coincides to the ah-ha moments. Totally, life has been great.

Perfect.

 By: Stoikos : August 1st, 2021-21:43

Thanks 🙏🏻

 By: Clueless_Collector : August 1st, 2021-22:03

I'm also a big believer in use it or it's not yours for my hard earn $$$ :)P

 By: Clueless_Collector : August 2nd, 2021-00:38
Not to discourage savings for rainy days or not passing on to next gen, but I also want to enjoy while I still can walk, eat, jump....not when I'm on walker or wheelchair.

+1 We’ll said. Wear and enjoy them all in the best of health and longevity.

 By: ArmisT : August 2nd, 2021-00:47
Have you already assigned each watch to a particular day, or do you decide the morning of?

I will stay healthy and strong to enjoy them…Thanks.

 By: Clueless_Collector : August 2nd, 2021-00:58
The decision is usually the morning of, sometimes also checking weather if I should wear bracelet or leather strap.

Hope the same great week for you too…Thank you.

 By: Clueless_Collector : August 2nd, 2021-01:29
Having 4 brands mix and match provides a good variety that makes a new feeling each week.

I see that you’ve got all bases covered.

 By: Lankysudanese : August 2nd, 2021-02:06
A combination of colors, complications, case materials, manufacturers. I have a smaller collection of not-so-heavy-hitters, and I find it hard to keep them all running so that I can pick them up on any day and wear to work. It used to be mainly automatics...

I also prefer longer PRs…

 By: Clueless_Collector : August 2nd, 2021-02:43
Hence for Lange pieces, I don’t prefer the earlier generations with “only” 36hr. I also wish some PPs can be better with min 35-45hr.

That Lange is 🔥

Fantastic!

This will be a great horological week !!

Thanks…jlux.

 By: Clueless_Collector : August 2nd, 2021-14:39
I am excited to have some things to keep me motivated each week.

Top week ahead

 By: Cookies : August 2nd, 2021-13:00
Great selection for the week! I haven’t tried planning, even my collection is a messy unplanned unthemed mix. Another collector once told me to focus on a dive watch collection, but I never got to that stage. The ideal week rotation in my mind is: Monday:...

Those are some sophisticated thoughts….

 By: Clueless_Collector : August 2nd, 2021-14:40
I’m just thinking to let the watches have a fair share of love. I think you will, it’s all in the mind.

If I had these cards

 By: Cookies : August 2nd, 2021-14:48
Here are your watches with nicknames: monday: Tiffany tuesday: Cally wednesday: Zei thursday: Snoopy friday: Aqua Sat: Aqua Sun: Zei

I also rotate my collection but every month or so .

 By: Watchonthewrists : August 2nd, 2021-18:50
I will pick aprox 5 watches for a period of about 4 weeks . Like your great selection I always pick watches for the occasion (sport, dress, casual etc)

4 weeks is a little long for me, but you might know something I don’t…

 By: Clueless_Collector : August 2nd, 2021-20:28
I’m just too antsy, lol….wanted to reconnect with my watches more often. Unfortunately with the pandemic still lingering…some watches don’t have much opportunity to go to watch events like we used to meet. I just wind them, wear them briefly or to work. ...

I don’t have all of my watches at home so every month I rotate them and take aprox 4 a 5 watches back home .

 By: Watchonthewrists : August 3rd, 2021-07:36
To much of a struggle to do it every week tbh . To scared to have more watches in the same place at ones tbh, i also have a Boss with the same hobby so otherwise we will have to much at home

Ok, that makes sense...I also make trips every other week to a month and rotate the 10+ each round...

 By: Clueless_Collector : August 3rd, 2021-20:56
Totally agree not to put all eggs in 1 basket....enjoy with your boss!

I still remember that day when I got the text…almost got a heart attack…it was my only Aquanaut …

 By: Clueless_Collector : August 2nd, 2021-23:13
Till this year with the 5167A but like you said, no regrets even if it’s the only one.
